Meiho Road Station

Meiho Road Station Meiho has a large 10,000 sq. meter rest area that is perfect for the weary traveler. It houses a tourist information center, traffic information center, souvenir shop, restaurant and a general rest area called a "Surusumi-an" which is complete with a fireplace.

Meiho Ski Resort Four ski lifts and 12 runs make this one of the largest ski hills in western Japan. The 5 000 meter runs have every level from beginner to expert, for skiers and snowboarders alike. There is also a day care center for kids, so every generation can enjoy the mountain.
Meiho Heights Music Festival

Meiho Heights Music Festival Every summer, since 1990, an open air music festival takes place in Meiho. Many famous artists and musicians are invited to share their talent. The highlight of the event is the "Summer Night Dream" concert where drinks, music and socializing continue until late into the night.
Meiho Fall Festivals

Meiho Fall Festivals When the leaves change their colors in the mountains of Meiho, it signals the season when we enjoy "Sen-nin-nabe" (a thousand people and iron pot). All the seasonal foods are gathered and cooked in a giant "nabe" pot and enjoyed by all. On September 8th and 9th at the Kansui-Hakusan Shrine there is a sacred a special dance festival that is performed by 130 participants. It is called the "Kano-Mizakake-Odori" and it is designated as cultural asset in Gifu and a national folk art asset for Japan.
